The Celtic Society of Southern Maryland (CSSM) would like to invite you to join us as a Sponsor at the 31st Annual Southern Maryland Celtic Festival and Highland Gathering. Each year, the organizers coordinate traditional games, music, dance, arts, crafts and culinary delights of the Celtic tradition for the greater Washington / Baltimore area.

All sponsors receive tickets to the festival, are recognized in the festival program and the Society website, www.cssm.org, and are hosted during the festival under a private viewing tent on the festival grounds. The various sponsorship levels are detailed on the following pages. We are also interested in developing Annual Corporate Sponsors. As an Annual Corporate Sponsor, the company would be recognized on every event advertisement, press release, and function CSSM offers throughout the year, as well as prominently posted on the Society website. In kind contributions can also serve as a vehicle for sponsorship. Equipment and service providers can support the festival and will be recognized to the extent equivalent to the financial value in our Sponsor categories.

This festival is one of the largest single day events in Southern Maryland, drawing crowds of over 12,000 to the Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum in St. Leonard, MD. Year after year, the attendees include not only a huge representation of local individuals and businesses from our community, but a great many consumers from the entire Mid-Atlantic region. In addition, the festival draws press from across the region and is an excellent chance to show your support for the community and its role within the larger DC/Maryland/Virginia area. An individual sponsorship donation enables you to support this popular celebration for the people of Southern Maryland, while gaining exposure and recognition for your business. As a non-profit educational corporation, all donations to the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival are tax-deductible.

In addition to presenting the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival and Highland Gathering each year, we offer workshops, concerts and other educational events to promote the Celtic culture through music, dance, storytelling, and more. All of our events have won constant community appreciation, but none would be possible without the generous support of our sponsors.
