Reminder - - the reservation period for the medieval feast ends this week (Tuesday, 21 Oct).....please send in your reservation if you have not done so......

Here' s the menu.......yum..............
Appetizer course:
- Auld Reekie (cock-a-leekie)
- Yumber Day Tart
- Irish Soda Bread
1st Meat Course:
- Scotch Broth (lamb stew) Normally only a broth, but will be done as a stew
- Frumenty cal ceannann
2nd Meat Course:
- Smoked fish (salmon or haddock)
- Blancmange
- Peas with onion and cauliflower (subject to change)
- Possible Kurly Kail
- Oatcakes
3rd Meat Course:
- Pyes de pares
- Acorn Squash and honey or compote
- Braised spinach
Deserts:
- Bread pudding
- Red and White Gyngerbred
- Shortbread
- Digby cakes (TBD)
