Medieval Feast 2008 Category: Celtic Society News and Events Posted at October 21, 2008

The Celtic Society of Southern Maryland invites you to join us for a Medieval Feast on 1 November 2008 at St. James Great Hall in Lothian, MD. The doors open to guests at 6:30pm. Cost is $25 per guest paid in full in advance.

As November 1st marks the Celtic New year, Samhain - "summer's end", a time recognized for new beginnings - we will enjoy an evening of traditional activities, music and dance.

Though not required for admittance, all are welcome to wear a costume and bring your own period dinnerware.

Each guest will be invited to offer some form of entertainment as they feel best qualified - a toast; a tune played on bagpipe, fiddle or whistle, perhaps; a traditional song from one of the Celtic nations; a traditional dance; a story, poem or quote.

All reservations MUST be paid IN FULL by 21 October - - no tickets will be sold at the door. For more information call 443-404-7319
